Seamless tees made by CEC
Pipeline connecting elements with three connecting edges which are designed to fasten lateral pipe branches to the main pipeline (in this way the medium changes its direction at 90 degrees angle).
Centrifugal electroslag casting (CEC) advantages:
- CEC quality significantly exceeds other casting methods;
- CEC allows to manufacture pipeline parts that cannot be produced with other methods or are economically unreasonable;

CEC method we are able to manufacture parts from rarely used or/and chemically complex steel grades.

Turned Seamless Tees
Turned tees are made by turning a cast workpiece (forgings). The workpiece is an ordinary metal square which a tee is turned from as a result of subsequent machine treatment.

Stamped Seamless tees
Stamped seamless tees are made with hydraulic extrusion of a neck, i.e., a part of a pipe of the desired diameter and length is cut, then a hole is drilled in this pipe, and while using a special press an additional branch (neck) is extruded from the pipe through this hole. During the manufacturing process the workpiece is not heated, only ready-made stamped tees are heat treated. The tees have a small weight and dimensions and without a single weld.

Welded tees
Welded tees are used in large diameter pipelines under low pressure. Welded tees are manufactured while welding two workpieces (a main body and a neck). Welding is usually manual or semi-automatic. Workpieces are made of either a sheet of metal or seamless or electrically welded pipes. Thus, a welded tee looks like a pipe with a welded nozzle. As a result, it has one or more welds (depending on what the body and the neck are made of).

Welded tees with straps
Welded tees with an additional strap on the neck in the point where the neck is welded to the body and a metal strap is additionally welded from above. It gives additional strength to a tee, as a result, it is possible to use it under higher pressure. Therefore, strap welded tees are commonly used in pipes under pressure.

Stamped tees
Stamped tees are made while welding two stamped workpieces (a main body and a neck), which are made of a seamless pipe while stamping. As a result of welding, the tee has one weld along the line. There are two kinds of welded tees: a stamped welded equal-pass tee and a stamped welded adapter tee.
